Effective July 15, 2026
Terms of use
These terms cover the QEYET website, messaging application, community network, enterprise portals, Android test software, and Hermes integration.
Acceptance
By accessing or using QEYET, you agree to these terms and the privacy notice. If you use QEYET for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization.
Eligibility and lawful use
You are responsible for complying with laws that apply to you. Do not use QEYET to distribute malware, exploit systems, threaten others, violate intellectual-property rights, interfere with the network, evade lawful restrictions, or facilitate unlawful activity.
Your identity and recovery material
You control your recovery words, linked devices, local vault, exports, and credentials. Keep recovery material private. QEYET cannot recreate messages deleted from every authorized device and backup, and standard-account recovery words may be the only way to restore identity access after logout or local data loss.
Encrypted communication
QEYET is designed so routing nodes do not receive conversation keys. Encryption does not eliminate endpoint compromise, malicious participants, traffic analysis, user mistakes, software defects, or external service risks. Current technical claims and audit status are described on the security page.
Community and federation resources
QEYET may use community-run mini-nodes and independent federation peers. Availability, retention, location, and performance can vary. You must not overload, probe, abuse, or misrepresent a node you do not control.
Enterprise use
Enterprise administrators manage tenant membership, directories, spaces, enrollment, and access policy. Users must follow their organization's rules in addition to these terms. Account reissuance restores organizational access but does not guarantee recovery of old local history.
Hermes and external services
Hermes, Google Drive, browser push systems, TURN services, app stores, and other integrations are provided or operated by third parties. Their terms and privacy practices apply separately. You are responsible for tools, models, files, and actions enabled in your own Hermes environment.
Test software
Preview, beta, sideloaded, and test builds are evaluation software. They may contain defects, change without notice, lose compatibility, or require manual updates. Do not rely on test software as the sole repository for critical information.
Content and intellectual property
You retain rights in content you create and remain responsible for it. QEYET branding, application code, documentation, and site materials remain subject to their applicable ownership and license terms. These terms do not grant a right to impersonate QEYET or use its marks deceptively.
Service changes and suspension
QEYET may update, limit, suspend, or discontinue components to maintain security, comply with law, prevent abuse, or evolve the product. Enterprise administrators may separately suspend organizational memberships under their tenant policy.
No warranty
To the maximum extent permitted by law, QEYET is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, data recovery, or error-free operation.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, QEYET and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, messages, profits, goodwill, or access arising from use of the service.
Changes
These terms may be updated as QEYET develops. Material changes will be identified by a revised effective date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms where permitted by law.

Commercial legal review
These terms document the current operating model but are not a substitute for jurisdiction-specific legal review before a paid enterprise launch.
