Desktop (beta)

Native Windows and Linux apps. Same vault, same recovery words — nothing moves through a third party. Beta: moving fast, expect rough edges and frequent updates.

  1. Download the ZIP (~70 MB — it bundles .NET and the Windows runtime)
  2. Extract, run QeyetMail.App.exe, then create or recover with six words
  3. Updates install in-app, no re-download page

Download Windows 0.8.2

  1. Download the AppImage (~41 MB)
  2. chmod +x, run it, create or recover with six words

Why desktop?

Same encrypted vault as the web, without a browser tab. Mail stays on your device — the server only relays unread packets, then forgets them.

  1. End-to-end encrypted, transit-only server
  2. Offline drafts and calendar
  3. Beta feedback: hello@qeyet.com

Open on the web

Beta installers are unsigned for now — Windows SmartScreen may warn. Choose “More info → Run anyway” on first launch. Builds update in place from then on.

Second device checklist

On the first device

Open Settings → recovery words. Copy them offline. Never paste them into random websites.

On the new device

Choose “I already have Mail” and enter the six words in order.

Sync

Keep both online briefly so mail and chat catch up. Then use either device normally.
