QeyeT — Above the Clouds
Apple Mail + QeyeT Classic
QeyeT Classic is standard IMAP/SMTP mail, so Apple Mail connects directly. These are the exact server values, verified against the live server.
| Setting | Value |
|---|---|
| Incoming mail (IMAP) | classic.qeyet.com — port 993 — SSL/TLS |
| Outgoing mail (SMTP) | classic.qeyet.com — port 587 — STARTTLS (authentication required) |
| Outgoing mail (alternative) | classic.qeyet.com — port 465 — SSL/TLS (authentication required) |
| Username | Your full address, e.g. ann@qeyet.com |
| Password | Your signup password; with two-factor on, an app password (see step 4) |
Steps
- Open Apple Mail ▸ Settings ▸ Accounts and press + › Add Account.
- Pick Other Mail Account…. Name: your name. Email: your full @qeyet.com address. Password: your Classic password.
- If Apple does not detect the servers, enter them by hand from the table above — IMAP 993 SSL/TLS, SMTP 587 STARTTLS or 465 SSL/TLS — and keep “Both” for authentication.
- Using two-factor? Sign in at classic.qeyet.com, open Use in other apps, create an app password, and paste that into Apple Mail instead of your normal password. The same panel also offers an Apple profile file for one-tap setup.
No 993? Some networks block it — use port 465 for SMTP, which usually passes. Calendar (CalDAV): https://classic.qeyet.com/dav/cal. Contacts (CardDAV): https://classic.qeyet.com/dav/card.
