Straight talk Classic is encrypted at rest on our servers, but it is not end-to-end encrypted — like Gmail or Outlook, the server can process your mail to search and sync it. If you want mail nobody else can read, sign up for QeyeT Quantum instead.

After you sign in at classic.qeyet.com, Use in other apps offers an Apple profile, Thunderbird autoconfig and app passwords. With two-factor on, use an app password in mail apps.

Questions

Can I email Quantum users from Classic?

Yes, as regular email. Quantum users see the sender as you@classic.qeyet.com, and their replies come back to your Classic inbox. It is not end-to-end encrypted.

Is a Classic address the same as a Quantum address?

Both are @qeyet.com, and a name can belong to only one of them. Classic accounts sign in with a password at classic.qeyet.com; Quantum accounts use six recovery words in the QeyeT Mail app.

What do I need to sign up?

A username, a password of at least 10 characters, and a quick human check. No phone number.

When can I pay for 5 GB?

Paid plans are coming soon. Prices will be $2/month or $20/year.
